Singing is acting. I suggest ways to approach text and dramatic intention with as much attention to detail as the composer does.
Each composer, each music-period, each style, each language has its own challenge and opportunity.
By creating a dramatic and textual road-map, the singer is able to plot a renewable course for a dynamic interpretation of a Classic work.
I work with companies, productions, and individual singers to enhance textual and dramatic awareness.
The AUDITION, that most artificial and stressful event possible, is actually an opportunity to create a world of music, artistry and confident expression of self.
SInging is acting.
